    Traffic police to increase early morning operations near parties in effort to reduce road crashes

    The visitors police will likely be rising early morning operations within the neighborhood of events, as a part of efforts to scale back street crashes.

    Commanding Officer for the Public Security and Site visitors Enforcement Department (PSTEB) Senior Superintendent Lloyd Darby says there have been a number of single car collisions involving individuals believed to be getting back from occasions.

    As of right now February 6, 26 lives have been misplaced in 20 collisions.

    374 individuals died in crashes final 12 months.

    SSP Darby says street fatalities proceed to be a priority, noting that every 12 months greater than 300 individuals are killed in collisions and  that within the final 10 years, there have been 4107 street fatalities.

    In a social media submit, he urges motorists to be smart on the street.
