A Texas politician was allegedly stabbed by her grandson Monday morning in an assault that killed her husband.
Denton County Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell, who served as the primary Black mayor of Lewisville, Texas, from 1993 to 2000, was hospitalized Monday morning and is in steady situation and being handled for stab wounds. Her husband, Fred Mitchell, was pronounced lifeless round 5 a.m.
Mitchell Blake Reinacher, Bobbie and Fred Mitchell’s 23-year-old grandson, was arrested and has been charged with homicide and aggravated assault with a lethal weapon. He was nonetheless on the scene when police arrived and he was arrested with out incident, police mentioned.
