WOOD COUNTY, Texas — A Texas deputy has died following a crash involving a semitruck, KLTV reported.
Deputy Melissa Pollard of the Wooden County Sheriff’s Workplace died Wednesday following a crash at an intersection, in response to the report.
In line with a Texas Division of Public Security trooper on the scene, Pollard was on responsibility when her patrol automobile struck the rear of an 18-wheeler that was making a left-hand flip. The trooper famous there have been no indicators of braking from the deputy’s automobile previous to affect, in response to the report.
Pollard was transported to a close-by hospital, the place she later died from her accidents. The driving force of the 18-wheeler was not injured within the crash.
“Please pray for the Pollard household, Wooden County Sheriff’s Workplace household, and all different events concerned on this tragedy,” the sheriff’s workplace said.
