    Teen Held with Imitation Gun in St Mary Police Operation

    ST MARY, Jamaica – A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody after police discovered him in possession of an imitation firearm throughout a pre-dawn joint army operation on Saturday. The operation focused a number of communities, together with Boscobel, Retreat, Stewart City, and Mango Valley.

    Performing Superintendent of Police Anthony Wallace emphasised the significance of such operations in safeguarding communities and stopping youth involvement in crime.

    “The arrest of the 15-year-old highlights the pressing want for continued police intervention and neighborhood assist. We are going to stay relentless in our efforts to take away felony influences from our communities and defend our younger folks from being drawn into unlawful actions,” Wallace acknowledged.

    Throughout the identical operation, a 31-year-old man from Boscobel was arrested for possession of id data, which authorities consider is linked to lottery scamming.

    Legislation enforcement officers have reiterated their dedication to tackling felony actions and have urged residents to report any suspicious conduct to assist hold their communities protected.
