    Teen Girl Charged After Allegedly Stealing Cash at Beauty Salon

    Spanish City, Jamaica — A teenage woman has been charged with easy larceny following the theft of $158,000 from a girl’s purse, the Spanish City police reported.

    The incident occurred on Thursday, Might 29, when each the complainant and the minor had been at a magnificence salon. Police say the teenager accompanied the lady to a close-by cash switch company, the place the lady collected the money and positioned it in her purse.

    The 2 then returned to the salon, the place the teenager allegedly eliminated the cash from the purse and left the premises.

    Following a report made to the police, an investigation was launched. The minor was recognized as a suspect and subsequently arrested and charged on Thursday, June 5.

    Her courtroom date is at the moment being finalized.
