BATON ROUGE – Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, a teen who aspires to be a police officer and is battling terminal most cancers, visited the State Capitol and Louisiana regulation enforcement on Tuesday.
The Louisiana Division of Well being organized the journey. Daniel and his father flew into Baton Rouge and had been escorted to the Capitol, the place he met State Police, Nationwide Guard members and the State Fireplace Marshal Bryan Adams.
After his assembly, DJ was acknowledged by members of the legislature.
“DJ has been by a lot, so we felt this was a chance to indicate him across the State Capitol and introduce him to a few of our company heads. He’s such a powerful individual with unbelievable resilience and we wished him to have a big day,” LDH stated.
