    Taxi Operator Charged in Fatal Trelawny Hit-and-Run

    TRELAWNY, Jamaica – A 49-year-old taxi operator has been charged in reference to a deadly hit-and-run incident that claimed the lifetime of a 61-year-old landscaper in Deeside, Trelawny. Kayan Williams, of Bounty Corridor, was charged with inflicting dying by harmful driving after surrendering to the Trelawny police on Monday, March seventeenth, accompanied by his legal professional.

    The incident occurred on Saturday, March fifteenth, 2025, and resulted within the dying of Balford Inexperienced, also called “Luie,” of Blackwin, Deeside.

    In keeping with police studies, at roughly 7:00 PM, Inexperienced was strolling alongside the left aspect of the Hammersmith roadway when he was struck by a automobile.
