    Support Jamaica funds to rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Melissa

    The funds acquired via help Jamaica will probably be used to buy constructing materials to help the rebuilding effort, following the devastation attributable to hurricane Melissa in October.

    Data Minister Dr. Dana Morris Dixon mentioned Cupboard on Monday, made the choice about how the funds will probably be used.

    The Ministry of Labour is endeavor assessments to find out homes broken or destroyed through the passage of the Class 5 hurricane.

    Engineers from Guyana and the Jamaica Defence Drive will undertake the rebuilding of properties. 

    Dr. Morris Dixon mentioned nearly all of the homes to be rebuilt are in japanese Westmoreland.

    Meantime, Director Common of the Workplace of Catastrophe Preparedness and Emergency Administration (ODPEM), Commander Alvin Gayle said that some 31,000 harm assessments have been undertaken by the Labour and Social Safety Ministry.

    He provides that  215,000 buildings throughout the nation have some stage of injury.
