    St Mary Brothers Charged with Ammunition and Ganja Possession

    St Mary, Jamaica —  Two brothers from St Mary are behind bars after police found ammunition and ganja throughout an early morning raid final Thursday within the Castleton division.

    Charged are 27-year-old Leyon “Bashy” Fisher, a landscaper of Heywood Corridor, and his 34-year-old brother, Roshaine “Fisher” Fisher, a safety guard from Scott’s Corridor. The lads are scheduled to look earlier than the St Mary Parish Courtroom on April 17.

    In line with police experiences, officers from the St Mary division carried out a focused operation at a three-bedroom concrete home in Scott’s Corridor, which was occupied by the brothers. Throughout the search, legislation enforcement uncovered eleven 9mm rounds of ammunition hidden below a mattress, together with an undisclosed amount of ganja.

    Investigations additional revealed that Leyon Fisher was in breach of bail situations stemming from a earlier cost associated to the possession of a prohibited weapon. As a part of his bail phrases, he was barred from being within the Scott’s Corridor group on the time of the raid.

    Neither man was in a position to account for the presence of the ammunition, resulting in their arrest and subsequent costs for unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of ganja.

    The case has as soon as once more raised issues over bail violations and the continued circulation of unlawful weapons and medicines in rural communities. The police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
