    St Catherine Mother Charged After Daughter Burned in Beating Incident

    Spanish City, St Catherine — A 24-year-old mom from Spanish City has been charged with cruelty to a toddler after her four-year-old daughter sustained burns in a disturbing incident over the weekend.

    In accordance with reviews, the incident occurred on Sunday, April 6, when the girl was allegedly beating the kid with a broomstick. Throughout the beating, the kid reportedly fell right into a lit coal range, leading to burns to her again.

    The kid was taken for medical remedy, and the matter was reported to the Spanish City police. Following an investigation, the mom was arrested and subsequently charged on Monday, April 7.

    She is scheduled to seem within the St Catherine Parish Court docket on Friday, April 11.
