RUNAWAY BAY, St Ann — Police have launched an investigation into the homicide of a 63-year-old man who was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Runaway Bay, St Ann.
The deceased has been recognized as Irwin Thompson of Swamp District, Moneague, St Ann.
Based on studies, residents of Rickets Drive, Runaway Bay, heard explosions round 6:29 a.m. and alerted the police. Upon their arrival, officers found Thompson mendacity alongside the roadway with obvious gunshot wounds to the top.
He was pronounced useless on the scene.
The Discovery Bay Felony Investigations Department is main the probe into Thompson’s loss of life. Thus far, no motive has been established for the killing.
Police are urging anybody with details about the incident to return ahead as investigations proceed.
