St Catherine, Jamaica – A 47-year-old mason from Spanish City has discovered himself on the flawed facet of the legislation after he allegedly pulled a gun and opened hearth on a person throughout a heated confrontation in the neighborhood.

The accused, Dave “Mark” Tapper, of South Montecello Crescent, has been slapped with a string of great firearm-related prices, together with:

    • Wounding with intent
    • Possession of a prohibited weapon
    • Unauthorised possession of ammunition
    • Utilizing a firearm to commit a felony

The incident reportedly went down at about 11:00 p.m. on July 18, when Tapper is alleged to have stormed the house of a person he had an ongoing dispute with.

In response to police, Tapper opened hearth, hitting the person earlier than he might flee the scene.

Regardless of his accidents, the sufferer managed to flee and later filed a report with the Spanish City Police. He was rushed to hospital, handled, and later launched.

Tapper, in the meantime, was later taken into custody, the place prices have been formally laid.

The police are persevering with investigations, and residents are being reminded to report any suspicious or violent exercise by contacting their nearest station or calling Crime Cease at 311 or Police 119.
