Twenty-year-old Alex Miller, in any other case often called ‘Deda’, of Oxford district, Free Hill, St Mary, has been charged with housebreaking and larceny following an incident in his neighborhood on Thursday, Could 15.
Stories from the Port Maria police are that about 2am, a girl was asleep in her home when she awoke and noticed a person standing above her with a knife.
She raised an alarm, which induced the person to run and escape by a window.
Later that day, the girl realised that $7,555, US$93, and CAD$5 had been lacking from the home.
A report was subsequently made to the police and following an investigation, Miller was taken into custody, and was charged on Saturday, Could 31 after being identified on an identification parade.
A court docket date is being organized for him.
