St. Andrew, Jamaica — A 32-year-old safety driver has been arrested by the St. Andrew Central Police in reference to the daring theft of over $15 million from a Beryllium armoured truck final Saturday.

Stories are that the incident occurred on Saturday, October 11, 2025, throughout a scheduled money assortment on the MegaMart retailer on Waterloo Street.

It’s alleged that following the pickup, the driving force fled the scene with the funds. The police subsequently launched an investigation, which led to the suspect’s arrest earlier this week.

Investigators are persevering with their probe into the multi-million-dollar heist, as efforts are underway to recuperate the stolen money.
