Ray J Says Doctors Fear He May Not Survive Beyond 2027 Entertainer Ray J has revealed that his health has deteriorated to a critical stage, prompting serious concern about his future. The singer and reality television star made the disclosure in a candid message to supporters following a recent hospitalization. Speaking directly to fans on social media, Ray J said medical professionals have warned him that his condition is life-threatening, adding that he has been told he may not live to see the year 2027. During the emotional exchange, he dismissed encouragement from a friend to remain optimistic, insisting that his comments were based on what doctors had already shared with him. The artist attributed his declining health to years of excessive drinking and partying, admitting that the lifestyle has severely damaged his heart. Ray J has previously stated that his heart is functioning at roughly 25 percent, a condition he now says has worsened. He described past behavior involving heavy alcohol consumption and a sense of invincibility, which he believes ultimately took a devastating toll on his body. In a sign of growing urgency, Ray J disclosed plans to travel to Haiti within the next two weeks in search of alternative treatment options. The decision comes despite ongoing instability in the country and travel warnings issued by U.S. authorities, underscoring how serious his situation has become. He ended his message by expressing gratitude to his parents and to his sister, Grammy-winning singer Brandy, whom he credited with supporting him financially during his illness. Earlier this month, Ray J was hospitalized in Las Vegas after suffering from severe pneumonia and heart-related complications. The incident followed a similar medical emergency four years ago, when pneumonia left him temporarily dependent on oxygen.
