    Quarry Hill Gets Reliable Access to Water – Jamaica Information Service

    Greater than 2,000 residents of Quarry Hill in St. Catherine now have dependable entry to potable water, following the completion of the $36-million Quarry Hill Pipeline Enchancment Mission.

    Undertaken by the Nationwide Water Fee (NWC), the undertaking concerned the set up of roughly 5.2 kilometres of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) distribution pipelines to resolve low-pressure points, and enhance reliability, effectivity, and high quality of potable water supply.

    It is going to profit areas reminiscent of Sunflower Circle, Sunset Avenue, Sunbeam Crescent, Sunbeam Shut, Henderson View, and Port Henderson Drive.

    Minister of Water, Atmosphere and Local weather Change, Hon.     Minister of Water, Atmosphere and Local weather Change, Hon. Matthew Samuda, addresses the current official commissioning of the Quarry Hill Pipeline Enchancment Mission, held on the Quarry Hill Fundamental Faculty in St. Catherine.

    Everlasting Secretary within the Ministry, Wayne O. Robertson, in his remarks, mentioned that entry to scrub, recent water is a fundamental human proper.
