Westmoreland, Jamaica – A probe is underway into the tragic deaths of two kids who perished in a hearth at their dwelling in Culloden, Westmoreland, final night time.
The deceased have been recognized as eight-year-old Jamar Reid and eight-year-old Romain Powell, each college students at New Hope Major Faculty.
In response to police stories, the kids’s burnt stays had been found round 12:10 a.m. on Thursday, after a hearth fully destroyed their three-bedroom home.
It’s unclear at this stage how the fireplace began, and investigations are ongoing to find out the reason for the blaze. Firefighters had been known as to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames, however the home was already decreased to rubble by the point they arrived.
Members of the family and neighbors are in shock, with many expressing disbelief on the devastating loss. Authorities are working to assemble extra data, and the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
