In accordance with Port Antonio police, Lindsay, who labored at a enterprise institution on West Avenue, collected hire from tenants between December 2024 and January 2025. As a substitute of remitting the funds to her employer, she is accused of diverting the cash for her private bills. When confronted by the complainant, Lindsay reportedly admitted to utilizing the funds for her personal wants.

An inside audit of the shop revealed that January 2025 gross sales have been brief by $88,000, a discrepancy that prompted the grievance and subsequent police investigation. The accused was not authorised to make use of the funds, and the misappropriation led to her arrest following a question-and-answer interview by legislation enforcement personnel.

Her court docket date is presently being finalised. Authorities have reiterated the necessity for companies to keep up strict monetary controls to stop such incidents and have urged the general public to report any suspicious exercise associated to monetary transactions.
