    Police seize 5 firearms and assortment of ammunition during operation on Mcintosh Drive, Kingston 3

    5 firearms and an assortment of ammunition had been seized by the police throughout an operation on Mcintosh Drive, Kingston 3 yesterday.

    Reviews from the Half Means Tree police are that between 4:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., police personnel on operation noticed a buying bag at a tree trunk whereas looking out a premises within the space.

    The bag was inspected and revealed one Colt semi-automatic pistol with {a magazine} affixed containing two .45 cartridges.

    An extra search was performed with members of the Canine Division, which yielded 4 do-it-yourself firearms, forty-one 12-gauge cartridges, 9 9mm cartridges, one .40 cartridge, and one .22 mm cartridge.

    No arrest was made in relation to the seizure.

    The investigation is ongoing.
