    Police Operation in Bethel Town Leaves Wanted Man Dead

    Police have confirmed the deadly taking pictures of a person they described as a serious high-risk goal throughout a safety operation in Westmoreland on New 12 months’s Day.

    The deceased has been recognized as Delano Leslie, in any other case known as “Loopy.” Lawmen reported that Leslie and two of his associates have been shot throughout an intelligence-led operation carried out by members of the Space 1 Fugitive Apprehension Crew. The operation passed off within the Cornwall Mountain neighborhood, throughout the Bethel City Police District.

    Throughout the train, officers reportedly recovered two pistols.

    Investigators stated Leslie was being actively pursued in reference to a number of critical crimes. These included the Could 2024 homicide of Dwayne Ottey, also called “Sparrow,” in Mackfield, Westmoreland, in addition to the December 2023 killing of Joshua Richards in Johnson City, Hanover.

    Police additional indicated that Leslie was a suspect in two separate incidents involving gunfire directed on the police within the Cornwall Mountain space. These incidents have been reported to have occurred in March 2025 and September 2025.

    The police haven’t launched the identities of the opposite two males who have been fatally wounded, and investigations into the operation are ongoing.
