    Police investigating suspected suicide of man in Ocho Rios, St Ann

    Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the demise of a person in Cornpiece Avenue, Change Ocho Rios, St Ann yesterday.

    The deceased has been recognized as 40-year-old safety guard, Tyrone Reid of Highgate, St Mary.

    Experiences are that Reid went to stick with a buddy on Thursday, January 2.

    The buddy reportedly instructed investigators that Reid appeared disoriented .

    At about 4:30 A.M. yesterday, Reid reportedly went into a toilet on the residence whereas armed with a knife.

    The buddy sensing that one thing was incorrect, sought help from neighbours.

    Throughout the incident, Reid reportedly sustained critical self-inflicted accidents.

    The police have been alerted and responded rapidly, managing to disarm him.

    Reid was rushed to the St Ann’s Bay hospital, the place he later succumbed.
