    Police Identify Man Killed in Alleged Confrontation in St Elizabeth

    ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Regulation enforcement officers have confirmed the identification of the person who died following an alleged confrontation with police in Hodges, close to Black River, on Tuesday.

    The deceased has been recognized as 44-year-old Leighton Nembhard, often known as “Bigga Don.” Police stated Nembhard was a sound selector and a resident of Peacock Heights within the Black River space.

    In line with police experiences, the incident occurred throughout the mid-afternoon hours when Nembhard reportedly turned concerned in a confrontation with members of the safety forces. Investigators stated extra personnel from throughout the St Elizabeth Police Division have been known as in to help throughout what was described as a standoff.
