    POA Chairman SSP Wayne Cameron charged for alleged financial irregularities

    Chairman of the Police Officers Affiliation (POA), Senior Superintendent Wayne Cameron, has been formally charged in reference to an ongoing investigation into alleged monetary irregularities referring to funds on the affiliation.

    The fees comply with the receipt of a ruling from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), which arose from an in depth and protracted monetary investigation performed by the Monetary Investigations Division (FID), in collaboration with the Jamaica Constabulary Power (JCF) and different related authorities.

    In a joint launch the JCF and the FID stated SSP Cameron has been charged with 5 counts of fraudulent conversion and 6 counts of larceny as a servant, arising from the alleged misappropriation of funds belonging to the POA.
