    PM Holness expresses confidence that Jamaica will recover quickly from Hurricane Melissa

    Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness says he’s assured that Jamaica will get well shortly from Hurricane Melissa.

    He explains that the Authorities’s technique for restoration, lies closely on the restoration of electrical energy.

    The Prime Minister can be defending the mortgage to Jamaica Public Service of US$150 million to facilitate help and gear from abroad to hurry up the method.

    Energy has been restored to 90 p.c of JPS prospects islandwide and near 70 p.c of the toughest hit parishes.

    Dr Holness factors out that data present that Jamaica’s efficiency is above its friends and really near first world requirements.
