    Pedestrian Killed in Early Morning Crash on Howard Cooke Boulevard

    A deadly collision within the early hours of Wednesday has claimed the lifetime of a person believed to be homeless in Montego Bay, St James.

    Police experiences point out that shortly after midnight, the unidentified man was making an attempt to cross an intersection alongside Howard Cooke Boulevard when he was struck by a motorized vehicle touring towards the city centre. Moments later, he was hit by a second car.

    The injured man was transported to hospital, the place he was later pronounced useless.

    His identification has not but been confirmed. On the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing black clothes.

    Eyewitnesses said that the person had been noticed strolling alongside the roadway a number of instances earlier that evening.

    Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
