    Parishes hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa gearing up for Grand Market

    Not less than two of the parishes hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa are gearing up for customary Grand Market celebrations right now.

    This follows the widespread devastation primarily throughout western parishes by the class 5 system on October 28.

    Amongst these hardest hit is St. Elizabeth

    Mayor of Black River Richard Solomon underscored that regardless of the injury attributable to the storm, grand market actions will happen in Junction and Santa Cruz.

    As for St. James, Mayor of Montego-Bay Richard Vernon mentioned that the municipal company has been facilitating 14 days of grand market, to spice up the parish’s economic system.

    In central Jamaica, Mayor of Could Pen Joel Williams mentioned a stroll by means of with the required personnel was performed to make sure order within the townships anticipated to host grand market actions.

    Meantime, on the north-coast, Mayor of St Ann’s Bay Michael Belnavis mentioned Brown’s City, which leads the parish within the yearly celebrations, has been outfitted for full facilitation.
