    NWC undertaking water trucking operations in parts of Western Jamaica this week

    The Nationwide Water Fee (NWC) is endeavor water trucking operations in components of western Jamaica this week.

    That is to ease provide disruptions attributable to Hurricane Melissa, as pipe restoration continues.

    The hurricane prompted disruptions to a number of NWC methods, that are nonetheless not again in operation.

    Because of this, water can be trucked to chose areas.

    In social media posts the NWC says at this time water can be trucked to Haughton Grove and the Shettlewood Housing Scheme in Hanover, Bethel City in Westmoreland and seven communities in St. Elizabeth.

    The areas are : Windfall, Longwood, Beadles Heights, Beadles

    Boulevard, Brighton, and Retirement Highway.

    On Wednesday, December 24 communities to be served in Hanover, are: West Haven Youngsters’s Dwelling and Copse group.

    In Westmoreland, Darliston Tax Workplace, Darliston Police Station, Whithorn Police Station, Retreat and Purple Highway.

    In St Elizabeth Bellevue Housing Scheme Phases 1,2,3 and Potsdam to Malvern and in St James, Cambridge.

    There can be no trucking on December 25.

    Trucking will resume on Friday, December 26 to sign up St. James

    And on Saturday, December 27 water can be trucked to Knockalva Technical Excessive College and the Knockalva Polytechnic School in Hanover.

    Over in Westmoreland communities to be served: Casa Buena and Petersville and in St Elizabeth communities to be served: Mountainside to incorporate Mountainside Sq..
