    NFA is urging fishers in western and central parishes to take advantage of fishing licences and registration fee waiver

    The Nationwide Fisheries Authority (NFA) is urging fishers in western and central parishes to make the most of the fishing licences and registration price waiver.

    The NFA applied the initiative to ease monetary burdens and help the sector’s restoration.

    Chief Govt Officer of NFA, Dr. Gavin Bellamy stated the programme ends on Might 11 subsequent 12 months.

    In the meantime, Dr. Bellamy stated the NFA has distributed over 1 thousand rolls of fishing wire to fishers throughout 26 seashores in a number of parishes.

    He stated right this moment the NFA staff can be at alligator pound in Manchester, distributing fishing provides.

    Dr. Bellamy was talking on the Rural Agriculture Improvement Authority, RADA, discussion board yesterday.
