This week’s New Music Friday lineup options a mixture of legends, contemporary expertise, and cross-Caribbean collaborations – all assured to carry that infectious vitality we all know and love.

    Machel Montano and Tano crew up for ‘Compromise’

    The King of Soca, Machel Montano, joins forces with rising producer and artist Tano for “Compromise,” a rhythmic mix of melody and message that explores the fragile dance of affection, pleasure, and partnership.

    Produced by Tano, and recorded by Klase Gonzales at Child Monster Studio in Trinidad, the one showcases easy vocal chemistry, layered percussion, and an irresistible groove that’s pure Carnival bliss. The monitor was blended and mastered by Richard McClashie, with visuals directed by Twin Island Firm and produced by Josiah Persad.

    Carnival veterans Hey Choppi and Voice reunite with Monk Music for an anthem that captures the spirit and soul of Caribbean unity — “In We Veins.”

    Produced by Madman Johann and blended by Precision Productions, the monitor is an ode to rhythm, id, and the unbreakable heartbeat of the islands. The music video, directed by Shania Perez, options actual Carnival footage and vibrant vitality that completely matches the track’s uplifting message.

    The Queen of Bacchanal is again! Destra Garcia hyperlinks up with MadLypso for “Free Once more,” a euphoric reminder of Carnival’s freedom and pleasure. Produced by Johann Seaton beneath Lypso Music, the monitor fuses Destra’s signature powerhouse vocals with pulsating manufacturing — setting the tone for each waistline able to “liberate” in 2026.

    Discuss chemistry! Preedy and Patrice Roberts ship a cinematic collaboration with “Bacchanal Mode,” produced by 9 Thoughts Leisure and delivered to life via a star-studded video shot by Movement Studio and Aaron Caruth.

    Produced by Jeaucar and Th3rd beneath Unhealthy Beagle / Husle Exhausting, “Give It House” is a daring fusion of 2026 Trinidad Soca and hip-hop vitality – showcasing Fay-Ann’s commanding vocals and Maino’s easy bars.
