    New mobile application designed to strengthen oversight and accountability in mining sector launched yesterday

    A brand new cell utility designed to strengthen oversight and accountability within the mining sector was launched yesterday.

    Developed by the Ministry of Agriculture and its companions, the Mining Issues Cell App, goals to present residents a stronger voice in reporting mining considerations.

    Talking on the launch, Agriculture Minister Floyd Inexperienced mentioned the platform will permit residents to submit studies on to the authorities, enhancing transparency and response occasions throughout the sector.

    Inexperienced defined that the app will allow officers to effectively monitor complaints and monitor points raised by members of the general public.

    He added that studies submitted by way of the system shall be reviewed and monitored, with customers receiving suggestions inside three days.
