    National Security Minister Tours JCF Expo in Montego Bay – Jamaica Information Service

    Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Nationwide Safety, Hon. Dr. Horace Chang, toured the Jamaica Constabulary Pressure (JCF) ‘Transformations – Folks, High quality and Know-how Expo 2.0’, on the Montego Bay Neighborhood School in St. James, on Saturday, June 21.

    The showcase, which ran from June 19 to 22 on the school in addition to the Nationwide Area in Kingston, aimed to exhibit the JCF’s ongoing transformation by way of innovation, know-how, and public engagement.

    Minister Chang was accompanied by Police Commissioner, Dr. Kevin Blake, and different senior members of the JCF excessive command.

    Additionally on the tour have been Commissioner of the Bermuda Police Service, Darrin Simons, and Superintendent of Police, Christopher Francis, from the Regional Safety System in Barbados.

    Dr. Chang advised JIS Information that he was impressed with the vary of technological and strategic developments on show.

    The Minister additionally took the time to work together with the women and men of the Pressure.

    The JCF’s divisions highlighted a spread of capabilities, from JamaicaEye and the Prison Information Workplace to the Station Report Administration System, Neighborhood Security and Safety Department (CSSB), and Highway Security Models.

    Every presentation highlighted the Pressure’s dedication to trendy policing, environment friendly crime-fighting methods, and significant engagement with Jamaican communities, particularly younger individuals.

    There have been additionally performances and actions, equivalent to canine demonstrations, a bodily schooling and drill showcase by the SWAT crew, and a night live performance.
