    Murder Suspect Fatally Shot in Police Operation in St. James

    St. James, Jamaica — A 20-year-old man who was underneath investigation for a number of critical crimes was fatally shot throughout a police operation in Farm Heights on Tuesday evening.

    The deceased has been recognized as Romario Ferguson, in any other case often called ‘JT’. He was reportedly being investigated for a number of murders, shootings, and robberies within the parish of St. James.

    In keeping with police experiences, a workforce carried out a focused operation round 10:00 p.m. alongside Eagle Drive in the hunt for Ferguson, who was believed to be armed. Upon being approached by officers, Ferguson allegedly opened hearth on the police workforce.

    Throughout the trade, he was fatally shot. Regulation enforcement officers recovered a 9mm pistol together with {a magazine} containing three rounds on the scene.

    Police say Ferguson had been out on bail for a earlier homicide cost and was additionally a suspect in 4 extra murders within the parish. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
