    Motorist Crushed by Boulder Along Bog Walk Gorge

    St. Catherine, Jamaica – The Bathroom Stroll Gorge changed into a scene of tragedy on Friday afternoon when an enormous boulder tumbled from the hillside, crushing a transferring car and fatally injuring the motive force.

    Lifeless is 61-year-old Linton Davis, a labourer from Better Portmore, St. Catherine.

    Reviews from the Bathroom Stroll Police are that about 1:30 p.m., Davis was driving his Isuzu motor truck alongside the winding Bathroom Stroll Gorge roadway when the unthinkable occurred — a boulder broke free from the hillside and got here crashing down onto his car.

    The influence smashed the highest of the truck, leaving Davis severely injured and trapped inside.

    Emergency providers have been referred to as to the scene, and Davis was rushed to the Spanish City Hospital, the place he later succumbed to his accidents.

    The incident has left residents and motorists in shock, many expressing concern in regards to the risks of touring by way of the Gorge throughout wet or unstable climate circumstances.

    Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident, whereas calls develop louder for security measures to be applied alongside the infamous roadway.
