    Montego Bay Metro Launches New Bus Routes in St James and Hanover with Fares Starting at $50

    The newly launched routes function from Embassy Place in downtown Montego Bay to Inexperienced Pond, passing by means of Cornwall Courts, and from Lucea to Negril. The initiative targets the busy northern corridors, providing a protected, dependable, and inexpensive different for every day commuters.

    Fares have been structured to help affordability:

    • Inexperienced Pond Route:

    • Lucea to Negril Route:

    The transport authority says the brand new routes are a part of broader efforts to strengthen public mobility infrastructure and scale back journey pressure for underserved communities.

    Residents have welcomed the transfer, citing decreased journey prices and improved entry to schooling, employment, and healthcare.

    Officers encourage the general public to utilize the brand new providers and remind all commuters to stick to security protocols whereas on board.
