ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Residents in elements of St Elizabeth had been shaken from their sleep early Monday morning after a minor earthquake rattled the parish.
In response to a preliminary report from the Earthquake Unit, the tremor struck at 2:24 a.m. on December 1, registering a magnitude of three.1.
The quake’s epicentre was situated close to Goshen, St Elizabeth, at a focal depth of 10 kilometres, officers mentioned.
There have been no instant reviews of harm or accidents linked to the early-morning shake.
The Earthquake Unit continues to observe the exercise.
