    Minister Hill Urges UK to Consider Special Visa for Caribbean Service Professionals – Jamaica Information Service

    Minister of Business, Funding and Commerce, Senator the Hon. Aubyn Hill, is encouraging the UK to think about implementing a particular visa association to facilitate the motion of Jamaican and different Caribbean service professionals inside that nation.

    He additional emphasised that Jamaica would proceed to champion deeper dialogue on the matter, recognising that sustained engagement is crucial to the efficient implementation of the EPA.

    Hill indicated that Jamaica stands able to welcome British residents who want to work remotely from the island.

    He famous that the requisite tax preparations are being reviewed by the Authorities to facilitate this.

    Senator Hill was talking throughout a welcome reception for the visiting United Kingdom (UK) Commerce Mission to Jamaica on the British Excessive Fee in Kingston on Wednesday (October 8).

    The Mission, which runs from October 8 to 10, seeks to deepen UK-Jamaica business collaboration, foster commerce growth, and strengthen ties between UK exporters and Jamaican industries.
