    Miners Day parade, mucking and drilling winners announced

    Park Metropolis Rotary has introduced winners of the Miners Day float competitors and mucking and drilling competitions.

    The parade winners, who every received $1,000 cut up 50/50 with their named beneficiary:

    • Greatest General: Serve Park Metropolis
    • Grant Beneficiary: Park Metropolis Training Basis
    • Greatest Mining Theme: Pals of Ski Mountain Mining Historical past
    • Grant Beneficiary: Park Metropolis Museum & Historic Society and Pals of Ski Mountain Mining Historical past
    • Most Authentic: The Pet Pawty Bus, a Gold Mine of Kindness
    • Grant Beneficiary: Wild Hearts Sanctuary
    • Greatest Efficiency: The Park Metropolis Follies
    • Grant Beneficiary: The Egyptian Theater

    Matt Karst from Idaho received first place within the mucking competitors. Zachary Walace from Santaquin was second, and Brian Nonetheless from Montana took third place.

    For the drilling competitors, Remigio Portillo from Salt Lake received first place. Aaron Calhoun, additionally from Salt Lake, received second, and Brian Nonetheless got here in third, once more from Salt Lake.

    First place acquired $1,000. Second place earned $700, and third place received $500.
