A tip from the Nationwide Heart of Lacking and Exploited Kids led to the arrest of a Millbrook legal professional on Wednesday. In response to Elmore Autauga News, John David Norris, 65, was taken into custody by the Millbrook Police Division and charged with 4 counts of dissemination of kid pornography.
In February of 2024, authorities started their investigation of Norris after studying from the advocacy group that a person within the jurisdiction was downloading and disseminating baby intercourse abuse materials. After Millbrook Police secured warrants for Norris’ workplace and residential, a number of digital units with baby pornography have been confiscated. MPD submitted the units to the Pc Forensics Unit with the Alabama Legislation Enforcement Company, which discovered possible trigger to permit the case to maneuver forward.

Norris was taken to the Elmore County Jail and is now being held on $80,000 bond.
An Elmore County grand jury has issued an indictment within the case.
