    Many Persons Living with Lupus Display Resilience and the Will to Thrive – Miss Universe – Jamaica Information Service

    Many individuals who’re residing with lupus constantly show resilience and the need to thrive, they usually want compassion from the general public, says Ophthalmologist, Dr. Gabrielle Henry.

    Dr. Henry, who can be Miss Universe Jamaica 2025, was addressing the 2025 launch of Lupus Month, held on October 1 on the Nationwide Volunteer Centre on Camp Street in St. Andrew.

    “For these of us who don’t have lupus, allow us to search to grasp, to assist, to advocate, and to make sure entry to high quality healthcare, early analysis, and continued analysis. For these residing with lupus, could you recognize that you’re not alone. Your life, your goals, and your worth should not diminished by this illness,” Dr. Henry stated.

    Miss Universe Jamaica 2025, Dr. Gabrielle Henry, addresses yesterday’s (October 1) launch of Lupus Month, held on the Nationwide Volunteer Centre on Camp Street in St. Andrew.

    The month of actions, dubbed Public Consciousness Marketing campaign, are being held below the theme ‘Thriving Past Lupus’. The drive will spotlight the resilience of these residing with lupus, whereas elevating consciousness in regards to the power autoimmune illness that impacts hundreds of Jamaicans.

    “Collectively, allow us to construct a neighborhood in Jamaica and past that recognises lupus not simply as a illness however as a part of the lived expertise of many, deserving of consideration, compassion and assist,” Dr. Henry advised the viewers.
