    Man Shot Dead in Early Morning Trench Town Shooting

    KINGSTON, Jamaica — A pre-dawn gun assault in Trench City, St Andrew, left one man useless and a girl nursing gunshot wounds early Friday morning.

    The deceased has been recognized as 49-year-old Corey Dixon, in any other case referred to as ‘Corey Max’, of a Rema, St Andrew deal with. The injured girl is claimed to be 44 years previous.

    Experiences are that round 2:00 am, Dixon and the girl have been catching water and conversing alongside Fifth Avenue when a motorized vehicle approached from the East Street path. Gunmen reportedly opened hearth, hitting each people earlier than dashing away.

    Residents rushed to help and raised an alarm. The victims have been taken to hospital, the place Dixon was pronounced useless. The lady stays hospitalized.

    Police are investigating the incident. No motive has but been established.
