    Man fatally shot during alleged police confrontation in Old Folly, Discovery Bay, St. Ann

    A person was fatally shot throughout an alleged confrontation with police in Previous Folly, Discovery Bay, St. Ann this morning.

    He has been recognized as Sudane Downer of Hanover.

    The incident occurred at about 5:00 A.M.

    Head of the St. Ann Police, Senior Superintendent Carlos Russell says Downer was on bail following a homicide cost.

    In the meantime, the St. Ann police additionally carried out operations in Bethel City.

    The operations targetted needed males and people linked to lottery scamming and violent crime.

    SSP Russell stated the operations type a part of sustained efforts to suppress felony networks, get better unlawful firearms and strengthen public security.
