    Man Fatally Shot by Police After Stabbing Cousin to Death in Rae Town

    Kingston, Jamaica – A person was shot and killed by police this afternoon after he fatally stabbed his cousin in Rae City, Kingston.

    The incident occurred round 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

    The deceased girl has been recognized as 43-year-old Niesha Williams, a mom of two.

    Experiences are that the person, recognized to residents as Rashad, stabbed Williams throughout a home dispute. Residents raised an alarm, and Williams was rushed to hospital, the place she was pronounced lifeless.

    Police had been known as to the scene and tried to apprehend the suspect. Nonetheless, in accordance with police stories, the person attacked the officers in the course of the arrest try and was subsequently shot.

    He was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

    The circumstances surrounding the incident are underneath investigation, and the Unbiased Fee of Investigations (INDECOM) has been notified.
