Oracabessa, St Mary: A person was taken into custody, and a stolen motorbike recovered throughout a joint police-military operation alongside the Oracabessa foremost highway in St Mary on Saturday, January 25.

The operation, carried out by members of the St Mary Operational Help Crew, the Port Maria Police, and the Jamaica Defence Drive (JDF), led to the arrest after officers stopped the motive force of a bike.

In keeping with experiences, the rider’s conduct raised suspicions, prompting additional checks. Investigators quickly found that the motorbike had been reported stolen in Irish City, St Andrew, in September 2024.

The suspect was taken into custody, and additional investigations are underway. Police are urging anybody with further info to come back ahead as they proceed their probe into the matter.
