Kingston, Jamaica — An enormous fireplace broke out at Ammar’s two-storey division retailer on King Road in downtown Kingston on Sunday morning, prompting a big response from the Jamaica Fireplace Brigade (JFB).

Appearing Superintendent Courtney Thompson reported that the brigade acquired the emergency name at 10:13 a.m. The primary unit from York Park Fireplace Station arrived to search out thick smoke pouring from the constructing and instantly requested backup. Further models responded from Half-Means Tree, Rollington City, Trench City, and different York Park stations.

Firefighters confronted difficulties having access to the construction resulting from dense smoke and poisonous gases trapped inside. Regardless of the depth of the blaze, neighbouring buildings have been spared.

Authorities stated the complete extent of the harm continues to be unknown, and a workforce of investigators was anticipated on web site to evaluate the constructing and decide potential dangers
