    Licensed Firearm Holder Foils Robbery Outside Scotiabank Downtown Kingston

    Kingston, Jamaica — A fast-thinking licensed firearm holder thwarted a theft try exterior the Scotiabank car parking zone on Port Royal Road in downtown Kingston Monday afternoon, leaving the would-be robber wounded and on the run.

    Experiences are that round 3:40 p.m., a lady was strolling towards her automobile when a person allegedly accosted her and tried to steal her belongings.

    Eyewitnesses say a licensed firearm holder, who was close by, intervened throughout the battle and fired on the assailant.

    The suspect was reportedly shot however managed to flee the scene earlier than police arrived.

    The incident has left enterprise house owners and staff within the space shaken, at the same time as many praised the intervention of the armed citizen.

    Police are persevering with their investigations and are urging anybody with data to contact them.
