Late Consul Normal of Jamaica in New York, United States, Alsion Wilson was honored at her funeral yesterday, for her distinctive service in advancing the island’s pursuits abroad.
She served from July 2019 to 2025 and was awarded the Commander of the Order of Distinction (CD) for her excellent contributions.
Mrs. Wilson handed away on Sunday, November 8.
Whereas delivering his tribute, Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness mentioned Mrs. Wilson elevated Jamaica’s imaginative and prescient throughout the diaspora throughout her tenure.
Meantime, Minister of Overseas Affairs and Overseas Commerce, Kamina Johnson-Smith famous that Mrs Wilson, will probably be remembered for her impression and enduring legacy.
