    KFC’s Expansion to Morant Bay a Symbol of Economic Decentralisation – Minister Hill – Jamaica Information Service

    Minister of Business, Funding and Commerce, Senator the Hon. Aubyn Hill, has welcomed the opening of KFC Morant Bay as an necessary image of financial decentralisation.

    He was talking on the grand opening of the restaurant contained in the Morant Bay City Centre in St. Thomas on January 17.

    The 436,000 square-foot multibillion-dollar improvement by the Authorities will home a plethora of public and private-sector entities in a single house.

    ROJ Managing Director, Mark Myers, in his remarks, said that the KFC Morant Bay opening “displays a deliberate determination to spend money on communities past Kingston and to develop in locations the place alternative and potential proceed to emerge”.

    He famous that when plans for the Morant Bay City Centre have been first taking form “we noticed a chance to be a part of one thing transformational. We wished to take part within the continued improvement of this parish, to take a position early and to develop alongside the neighborhood. That conviction is what introduced us right here”.
