The Jamaica City Transit Firm (JUTC) has transformed its Rural Categorical route 610 from Kingston to Ocho Rios to an everyday route.

The corporate says the choice was taken in response to suggestions from commuters.

The providing of the common service started on Wednesday December 17.

The pilot part of the service started in October from Ocho Rios to Half Manner Tree.

JUTC Company Communications Supervisor, Shantole Thompson, signifies that the common route construction will see extra journeys every day  with decrease fares.

Adults can pay $550 {dollars} with money or $500 with a JUTC smartfare card.

The concession fare for seniors, college students and the disabled is $250.

Ms. Thompson notes that the adjustment displays the JUTC’s dedication to creating significant modifications that enhance affordability and entry.

She says the  route is now Ocho Rios to Downtown Kingston.
