Tragedy struck early Tuesday morning when a soldier from the Jamaica Defence Drive (JDF) misplaced his life in a motorcar accident alongside Camp Highway in Kingston.

The deceased has been recognized as 23-year-old Everald Hendricks, a resident of Breadnut Stroll in Ginger Hill, St Elizabeth.

Based on police experiences, Hendricks was driving within the neighborhood of Bert’s Auto Components round 12:30 a.m. when he apparently misplaced management of the car, which then slammed right into a fence. He sustained extreme accidents and was later pronounced lifeless on the hospital.

Hendricks served within the Maritime, Air and Cyber Command (MACC) unit of the JDF. Information of his passing has sparked an outpouring of grief on social media, with colleagues sharing heartfelt messages of condolence to his household and associates.
