    Jamaican Student And Best Friend Killed In Fiery Texas Crash — Drunk Driver Charged

    Houston, Texas | August 5, 2025 – McKoy’s Information : A Jamaican household is grappling with heartbreak after their beloved son was killed in a fiery crash in Houston, Texas over the weekend. The tragic incident, which occurred on Saturday, claimed the lives of 22-year-old Jayden Flemming and his finest buddy, Ronnie Burns II, each current graduates of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical College (FAMU).

    Flemming’s household hails from Barking Lodge in St Thomas, and information of the accident has despatched shockwaves by way of the quiet rural district and the broader Jamaican diaspora group.

    Experiences are that the 2 frat brothers had been touring in an SUV when a suspected drunk driver, recognized as 21-year-old Rene Hernandez, ran a pink mild and slammed into their automobile. The influence induced the SUV to burst into flames, leaving each younger males useless on the scene.

    Hernandez was allegedly fleeing from a Precinct 7 deputy constable, having already struck one other automobile and run a number of pink lights. He has since been charged with two counts of homicide, because the crash occurred whereas he was reportedly committing a felony.

    Jayden Flemming’s mom, Leonie Williams, flew from Miami to Houston after receiving the devastating name. The younger Jamaican was simply days away from relocating to Germany, having been lately accepted to Kempten College of Utilized Sciences.

    Relations say he had already made preparations for the massive transfer and was excited in regards to the future.

    As investigations proceed, the households of Flemming and Burns are getting ready to put their sons to relaxation — each remembered as brilliant, pushed, and deeply beloved.
